  • Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Orthopedic rehabilitation focuses on eliminating joint or soft tissue pain for patients of all ages.  We use a holistic approach to specifically diagnosis the pain generator from your orthopedic ailment and then design a personalized treatment plan to return you back to a pain-free lifestyle.

Orthopedic conditions include injuries to the joints including shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles and feet.  It also covers treating conditions such as sprains, strains, tendinitis, tears and general muscle or limb pain.

  • Sports Rehabilitation

Whether you are a weekend warrior or professional athlete we have you covered when it comes to sports rehabilitation. We will design a rehabilitation program that is tailored to get you back to your sport and meet the demands it places on your body.

Our sports rehabilitation approach includes a functional assessment screen, strength training, plyometric training and sport specific resistance exercises.

  • Spinal Rehabilitation

Your spine is the center of your musculoskeletal system and when it is not working properly, it can cause pain and severely limit your mobility. Pain in the spine can be due to multiple factors including wear and tear, poor posture, surgery or degeneration. It can cause severe pain down your leg commonly known as sciatica.

Our spinal rehabilitation program is designed to effectively identify where your pain is coming from, whether it is in your neck, mid back, ribs, lower back or SI joint. We will then create a targeted program utilizing stretching, exercise, manual therapy and functional training to reduce your pain and improve your function.

  • Post-Surgical Care

Recovering from a major surgery can be a daunting task but we are here to help. After surgery your doctor is likely to recommend physical therapy to aid in your recovery process. Our physical therapists have years of experience and will walk you through a step-by-step protocol to return you to the activities you love after surgery.

Our team will work with you to reduce your pain, decrease stiffness and swelling, improve your range of motion and return you to activity. We will accomplish this through blending manual therapy and progressive exercise to meet your goals.

Common post-surgery conditions include total joint replacements, tendon and ligament repairs, arthroscopic surgeries and spinal surgeries.

  • Falls and Balance

Injuries from falls are one of the leading causes of hospitalization for adults over 65 with just over 1 in 4 older adults suffering a fall each year. While many think it is just a normal part of aging, it is not. Falls can lead to serious injury including fractures and head trauma. Fear of fall can also greatly reduce your overall mobility and confidence in movement.

Whether you have suffered a fall, feel like your balance is declining or would like to prevent a fall, we have your back. Our physical therapy team will utilize exercise, balance training and gait training to help you feel confident in everyday activities.

  • Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular conditions can significantly impact your ability to function. Their primary symptoms include dizziness, vertigo (a sense of spinning) and unsteadiness on feet. Secondary symptoms can include fatigue, nausea and an increased risk or fear of falls. Vestibular rehabilitation is a form of physical therapy designed to help properly diagnose and retrain your vestibular system to decrease and eliminate these symptoms to improve your quality of life.

  • Breast Cancer and Post Mastectomy Care

Recovering from breast cancer treatment, including mastectomy, lumpectomy, and radiation, often involves challenges such as pain, stiffness, swelling, and limited shoulder mobility. Physical therapy plays a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore range of motion, and reduce discomfort. A specialized rehabilitation plan can also address scar tissue restrictions, lymphedema management, and postural imbalances that may develop after surgery or radiation therapy.

Our team is certified in post breast cancer care. We will create a personalized treatment plan that may include gentle stretching, soft tissue mobilization, manual therapy, and progressive strengthening exercises to improve overall function. Additionally, education on posture, breathing techniques, and safe return to daily activities can enhance recovery and prevent long-term complications. Whether the goal is to return to work, sports, or simply daily tasks without pain, physical therapy provides essential support throughout the healing process.

  • Dry Needling

Dry needling is a great treatment option for pain, chronically inflamed tissue and restricted range of motion. Therapists who perform it are certified and have completed advanced dry needling training.

The treatment uses one or more thin, sterile, solid needles inserted into muscle or soft tissue. Dry needling helps reduce muscle tightness, improve blood flow, decrease pain, and restore movement. Many patients notice relief soon after treatment. The needles stay in place briefly, depending on the treatment area, number of needles used, and your treatment goals.

Dry needling is typically combined with exercise and other physical therapy treatments to help prevent symptoms from returning. Electrical stimulation is also often used with dry needling to create a gentle muscle contraction and relaxation, which can support nerve recovery, improve muscle activation, and help progress strength and functional goals.
